Obregon's Lawn & Tree Services

About Obregon's Lawn & Tree Services

Late August at Kempner Park, the old pavilion sits in deep shade and every blade of grass around it is waiting for evening. Obregon's Lawn & Tree Services keeps yards on those surrounding blocks through the hardest stretch of the year, when the heat index climbs before ten and the humidity never really breaks. The cut goes higher in that weather so the roots keep their shade, the edges stay sharp along the sidewalks, and the trimmer clears the tree bases and the fence corners. Everything loose gets gathered up and taken, because nothing rots faster than a pile left out in a Gulf Coast August. A lawn that comes through the summer still even and green is a genuine accomplishment, and it looks like one.
