Hummingbird Landscapes

About Hummingbird Landscapes

Every April the island fills with birds crossing the Gulf, dropping exhausted into the mottes and thickets on the West End for a day of rest. Hummingbird Landscapes works those spring weeks when everything at once decides to grow — the turf, the weeds, the vines along the back fence. Mowing gets frequent, edging gets essential, and cleanups clear the winter's leftovers so the yard can actually breathe. The crew cuts, trims, gathers what comes loose, and leaves the walkways swept. There is something worth savoring in a Galveston yard in April: green all the way to the fence, quiet, and full of wings.
