About Acreage Land Services, LLC

West of Fulshear the fences run long and the grass runs longer, and a place gets measured less in square feet than in acres. Acreage Land Services, LLC works at that scale: wide passes across open ground, fence lines cut back so the wire shows again, the long drive blown clear until the gravel reads pale against the green. Toward Simonton the pastures keep cattle egrets that lift ahead of the mower and settle in behind it, a white line trailing the new-cut one. Late-summer sun sits heavy out here until about five, when the light turns gold and the last pass looks like somebody drew it with a straightedge. Big ground, handled properly, still ends in a clean line.
