About Abe's Landscaping

Clear Creek runs the length of Friendswood, carrying its slow water past backyards and under the low bridges, and mornings along it come up soft with mist. Abe's Landscaping works those hours, mowing while the grass still holds dew and edging the walks until the line between concrete and turf is a single unbroken stroke. Gulf Coast lawns grow hard from March into November, so keeping up is a standing appointment rather than an occasional favor. The reward comes when the mower shuts off: the yard cut even, the clippings blown off the drive, the whole place sitting quiet in the heat. That is the work, done for neighbors up and down the creek.
