Elizondo Plant and Soil Services

About Elizondo Plant and Soil Services

February in Fort Bend County is the gardener's secret month, mild afternoons and workable ground, everything ready to go in before the heat arrives to make its demands. Elizondo Plant and Soil Services begins where a yard actually begins, which is the dirt itself. Compost and topsoil worked into stubborn river-bottom ground, beds built up and shaped, plants and shrubs set with room to grow into, mulch tucked around them, and the lawn mowed and edged while it all takes hold. Good soil is invisible labor that only shows itself months later, in color and thickness and the way a bed holds water through a dry week. The work runs through Fresno and the communities close by.
