About FS Tree Services

Peach blossom reaches the Gillespie County orchards before anything else does, and Fredericksburg spends March with one eye on a late freeze. FS Tree Services is out through the cold mornings ahead of that, pruning live oaks and cedar elms while the trees are still asleep, opening a crown over a limestone patio, taking weight off a limb that has reached across a driveway. Along the Pedernales the big pecans throw down heavy wood in a hard wind, and clearing it means cutting to loads and leaving nothing behind but grass. Removals go piece by piece where a tree has died back or grown into a roof, with the wood off the property the same day. Around here the trees are half of why a place looks the way it does, and the work is about keeping them that way.
