Zapata's mowing and landscaping

About Zapata's mowing and landscaping

The first real norther of the year drops into Fort Worth in a single afternoon, sixty degrees at lunch and thirty-eight by dark, the pecans over Sycamore Park letting go all at once. Zapata's mowing and landscaping reads the calendar by that, winding the mowing rotation down while cleanups take its place, leaves off the turf, beds cleared, walks and drives blown down. From March onward it is the opposite problem, grass growing faster than a weekend allows, and the answer is the weekly cut with edging and trimming to match. On the older east-side streets a tidy front yard carries a good share of the block's mood. The work is simple, and the difference is visible from the corner.
