Peden Lawn Care

About Peden Lawn Care

West of town the land tips down to Benbrook Lake, and in late spring the wind comes off that water all afternoon, bending the grass one way and then the other. Peden Lawn Care works the neighborhoods on those slopes, where a yard can hold three different grades and the mower has to be walked, not driven, along the steepest run. The reward is a lawn that reads as one clean surface from the road even though it never lies flat. Mowing, edging, trimming and blowing are the weekly rhythm; fertilization and weed control hold the turf together on ground that sheds water fast, and seasonal cleanups clear out what the wind piles against the fences. On an evening when the lake goes silver, a finished yard on a hillside is a good thing to look back at.
