The Lawn Masters

About The Lawn Masters

Fort Worth wakes early down by the Stockyards, where the brick of Exchange Avenue holds the night's cool a little longer than the pavement around it. The Lawn Masters keeps that same hour, mowers off the trailer while the light is still sideways and the Bermuda still carries dew. The work is mowing, edging, and trimming along fences and bed lines, then every walk blown clean so the cut reads as one continuous grain across the yard. By the time the heat climbs up out of the Trinity bottoms, the lines are laid and the clippings are gone. It is plain work, and there is real pleasure in a lawn that looks finished from the street.
