About Grass King, Inc.

Cattle still walk North Main twice a day, and the brick of the Stockyards holds its heat long after the crowd thins. Grass King, Inc. keeps lawns north of the river on a weekly cut — mowing, edging, string trimming around the pipe fence and the mailbox post, then everything blown back onto the turf. Shrubs get shaped in spring and again when the growth pushes past the window line. Through the dry stretch of August the deck rides higher so the Bermuda keeps a little shade on its own roots. Roll past on a Friday and the block reads as one long clean sweep of green.
