10-4 Lawncare

About 10-4 Lawncare

The name is radio shorthand for message received, and that is roughly how a morning starts here — a call comes in, the trailer gate drops, and the mowers roll out under a sky still gray above the I-35W frontage. North Fort Worth summers ask a great deal of a Bermuda lawn, so the work gets measured in early hours: decks set high, blades sharp, the first pass laid down before heat lifts off the pavement. Edges are cut clean along drives and walks, the string trimmer taken around mailbox posts and fence lines, and every clipping blown back onto the grass where it belongs. By the time the rail yards north of town are loud, another block of yards is standing squared and tidy. It is plain work, done on time, and the street looks better for it.
