About Steve's Landscaping and Tree Service

Some January mornings at Fort Bliss come in cold enough to stiffen a hose, the Bermuda gone straw-gold and every branch showing its true architecture. That bare stretch is when Steve's Landscaping and Tree Service does its cleanest pruning — shaping trees while the structure is visible, taking out crossing limbs and deadwood, cutting shrubs back so spring has somewhere to go. When the warmth returns, the mowing and edging start again, along with weed control and the hauling of clippings and cut brush. Working a yard across the whole turn of the calendar means knowing what it looked like dormant and what it will want in June. The reward comes in May, when everything cut back in winter fills in dense and even.
