About Vincent Landscaping

Forney evenings in late summer come on slowly — cicadas winding down in the hackberries, the western sky over the prairie going peach and then ash, the concrete finally letting go of its heat. Vincent Landscaping often finishes into that hour: a last pass with the mower, the walk edged, the fence line trimmed, the driveway blown clean and the trailer gate shut. Beds get their turn too, cleared and shaped and re-edged so the plantings have room to be seen. A yard at dusk with the lines still fresh in it is a small, complete thing. Then the truck pulls out and the crickets take the place back.
