About Red Line Green Line Services

Saturday morning in Fate arrives with a breeze off Lake Ray Hubbard to the west and a whole subdivision waking up to its yards. Red Line Green Line Services works those streets one house at a time — mowing, edging the curb line so the concrete comes up bright against the turf, trimming the fence corners, and blowing the sidewalk clear before the trailer gate goes up. The curb is where a lawn meets the street and where the whole job gets judged, so it gets the extra minute. Out past the last cul-de-sac the prairie starts again, and the wind that crosses it carries the smell of cut grass halfway down the block. That smell, on a Saturday, is the receipt.
