About Alfredo's Landscaping

March turns the ditches along the farm roads outside Fate into ribbons of bluebonnet, and that is when the beds start asking for someone. Alfredo's Landscaping answers with the slower half of the trade — bed edges recut by hand, fresh mulch spread dark and even, shrubs pruned back into shape, and the lawn kept mowed and trimmed while everything fills in. A bed edge cut clean against green grass is one of the small honest satisfactions of this work. Around Fate the soil is prairie clay, generous once it is worked, and the plantings that go in during a mild spring will carry a yard through a hard Texas August. The reward is a front walk that looks cared for from the street.
