Oscar's Green Lawn Care

About Oscar's Green Lawn Care

On the older streets the live oaks have closed overhead, and what grows under them is St. Augustine: broad, soft, and particular about shade, water and how short it gets cut. Oscar's Green Lawn Care reads a yard before starting it, raising the deck under the canopy and dropping it out in the open sun where the bermuda runs. Mornings are the working hours in Farmers Branch for most of the year, dew still on the blades, a sprinkler finishing up somewhere down the block. Trimming around trunks and beds, edging the walk, blowing the drive clean, then on to the next house. A shaded lawn that stays thick instead of thinning out to dirt is the result being worked toward, one cut at a time.
