About Haskett's Lawn & Landscape

Out on the rice prairie at Fannett the sky does most of the talking — Gulf humidity all morning, then a thunderhead stacking up over Hillebrandt Bayou by three o'clock. Haskett's Lawn & Landscape works the space between those, because St. Augustine in Jefferson County grows like it has somewhere to be and will not wait on dry weather. Mowing, edging, trimming and bed work stay on a tight rotation, with cleanups whenever the wind comes through and rearranges the yard. Plantings and mulch give a flat coastal lot the shape the land itself declines to provide. There is genuine pleasure in a crisp edge along a driveway with all that open prairie stretched out behind it.
