Santana's Tree Services

About Santana's Tree Services

January gets hold of Everman with a north wind that runs straight down the little streets and rattles every bare pecan in town. Santana's Tree Services welcomes the season anyway — with the leaves gone the structure of a tree is plain, and pruning done now pays out all summer. They shape hackberries and cedar elms off rooflines, pull dead limbs from the big shade trees between older houses, and take out the ones gone hollow at the base. Spring writes its own list, when a storm out of the southwest scatters branches over yards and fences and the job is nothing but cleanup, cut and carried. The trees left standing look deliberate, and the ground under them looks kept.
