Sunnyside Lawns

About Sunnyside Lawns

First light comes out of the east across Ennis flat and gold, and for an hour every yard in town looks like its better self. Sunnyside Lawns tries to leave them that way — mowing on a schedule, edging along walks and drives, trimming close where the mower cannot reach, and the concrete cleared before the truck moves on. Grass on this prairie takes the sun straight on, so cutting height and timing matter more than any trick. The pleasure is in the stripes still showing when the light swings back around in the evening. A small thing, done right, week after week.
