About Juan Herrera Landscapes

The soil under Ennis is black prairie clay that swells with rain and cracks wide open when it quits, so every bed here is a negotiation with the ground. Juan Herrera Landscapes takes that on directly: beds edged and mulched, shrubs pruned to shape, plantings set where they will actually hold, and the lawn mowed and trimmed around all of it. Late August is the test, when the clay has gone hard and the turf wants to give up under the sun. Work done well in that month is what makes October look easy. There is a quiet pride in a bed line so clean it pulls your eye down the whole front of the house.
