About Heritage Outdoor Services

Elgin's downtown is built of its own brick, warm red and squared up along the main street, and on a Saturday morning the whole town seems to be outside looking at it. Heritage Outdoor Services keeps the grass in shape around Elgin with mowing, trimming, edging, shrub work and seasonal yard cleanups. There is a particular pleasure in a lawn cut against a brick walk, where the line shows from the sidewalk and holds all the way to the corner. Weeks stack into a season, and a yard tended on a steady rhythm never gets that ragged, catching-up look. Level, trimmed and swept, and then on to the next one.
