Sun City Palm Trimming

About Sun City Palm Trimming

Palms line the boulevards here in long files, and after a spring of wind the dead fronds hang down in brown skirts that rattle over the sidewalk. Sun City Palm Trimming goes up after them, cutting the spent fronds and seed stalks away so the crown stands clean against a sky that is almost always blue. It is careful work at height, and the change is immediate — a shaggy tree becomes an ornament, and the yard beneath it stops collecting litter. Fronds and trimmings come down and go with the truck, leaving the drive swept. A well-trimmed palm is a landmark on its own block, and El Paso has thousands of them waiting.
