About JJ’s Landscape LLC

Late July in the Lower Valley, thunderheads stack up over the Hueco range and the whole city steps outside to smell rain coming off the creosote. JJ's Landscape LLC does its best work in the weeks after, when one storm turns a quiet lawn into something wild overnight and every yard on the street needs cutting at once. Mowing, edging, hedge trimming, raking out the corners where the wind piles debris — the list is plain, and finishing it is the whole point. There is a particular pleasure in the last pass of the mower while the light goes copper over the river. A yard that was overgrown on Monday looks looked-after by Thursday, and the family that lives there notices.
