King-Williams Services

About King-Williams Services

Edna keeps county-seat hours — the courthouse square fills at midmorning, empties at noon, and by two in the afternoon the shade under the oaks is the most valuable real estate in Jackson County. King-Williams Services moves through that middle stretch of the day, mowing, trimming and edging while the town goes about its errands. The reward is small and specific: a strip of grass along a sidewalk cut to one clean height, hedges squared, clippings blown off the walk so nobody tracks them inside. Coastal-plain grass grows hard from March into October, and keeping ahead of it takes showing up on schedule rather than showing up hard. Homes on the side streets, offices near the square, church grounds and rentals all get the same steady pass.
