VW Tree and Lawn Mowing Service

About VW Tree and Lawn Mowing Service

Storms come at Edinburg from the Gulf side in late summer, all at once — a wall of gray stacked over the sorghum fields, then rain hard enough to bend the mesquite. VW Tree and Lawn Mowing Service is out the morning after, limbing back the ebony and mesquite, taking down what the wind broke, hauling brush clear so a family can reach the road again. The rest of the year the work is steadier: trimming branches off a roofline, opening up a crowded fence row, keeping lawns mowed on a rhythm while the chachalacas carry on in the wetland thickets south of town. Edinburg gives its trees room, and they take every inch of it. Cut right, a canopy lets the afternoon through in pieces, and the grass underneath comes back thick and even.
