About Texas Lawns & Palms

Edinburg's light comes in long and gold at the end of a summer day, and it falls differently across a lawn that has just been cut. Texas Lawns & Palms works that hour — mowing, edging clean along the walk and drive, and trimming the sabal palms that stand over so many yards here like patient neighbors. There is a slow satisfaction in the last pass, the line laid straight down the parkway strip, the clippings blown off the concrete. Frond by frond a palm gets its shape back, the caliche dust settles, and the whole place reads sharp from the street. Under a Rio Grande Valley sky this wide, that crisp edge along the driveway is a small thing worth doing right.
