Horizon Turf Grass "East Bernard Farm"

About Horizon Turf Grass "East Bernard Farm"

Grass is a crop before it is a lawn, and anyone who has knelt in a Wharton County field in July knows the difference a quarter inch of cut height makes. Horizon Turf Grass, working from its East Bernard Farm, brings that attention to yards around town: mowing at the height the season asks for, edging beds and drives, trimming what the deck cannot reach, and clearing the cuttings away. Summer here is a long humid engine — heat, an afternoon thunderhead off the Gulf, then a week of hard growth — and turf answers all of it when someone is paying attention. The reward shows in low sun: an even nap across the whole yard, mower lines running true, no scalped high spots where the ground lifts. That evenness is worth the second pass it sometimes takes.
