About City Construction

East Bernard is a town you can walk end to end before the streetlights warm up, and every block of it shows its edges. City Construction keeps lawns along those blocks — mowing on a set rhythm, running the edger down the curb line until the concrete reads sharp against the green, trimming close around mailbox posts and porch steps. Evening is the good hour for it here, once the Gulf humidity eases and the light goes long and gold down US-90A. Grass on the highway shoulder grows fast enough to keep anyone honest, so the schedule matters as much as the blade. Come Saturday the yards on these streets look squared away, and that is the point.
