NEWLAND

About NEWLAND

On the south edge of Duncanville the newer streets begin as bare clay and hope — a slab, a sapling staked against the wind, a strip of sod that still has to decide whether it will take. NEWLAND works that turn: laying and tending sod, shaping beds, then holding the yard with regular mowing, edging and trimming while the roots go down. A lawn's first summer here decides everything, so watering habits and cutting height matter more then than they ever will again. Watching a raw lot become a yard with a real edge on it is the best part of the week. The older streets get the same rotation, just further along the same story.
