G-scapes

About G-scapes

The first real norther comes down on Duncanville sideways — the sky goes the color of dishwater, the temperature drops twenty degrees between lunch and supper, and every pecan and cedar elm on the block lets go at once. G-scapes works the weeks that follow: leaves raked and hauled off, beds cleared, the last cuts taken low so the Bermuda goes into dormancy clean. Spring finds the same trailer back on a weekly rotation, mowing, edging, trimming, blowing the drive clear. A yard tended at both ends of the year looks different by March, and the neighbors can tell even if they could not say why. That difference is the whole job.
