Alex Mowing and Trees

About Alex Mowing and Trees

Wind is the first fact of Dumas, coming across the high plains all day with nothing to slow it but a row of elms somebody planted for exactly that reason. Alex Mowing and Trees works with it instead of against it, mowing the flat Panhandle yards even, trimming close to fences and windbreak trunks, and blowing the walks in the direction the day is already going. Up at this elevation the growing season is short and plain: green comes late, runs hard through the long light of June and July, then quits early. Every cut inside that window counts for something. A yard here looks its finest mowed tight and clean, standing up against all that sky.
