DS Yard & Wash

About DS Yard & Wash

Hill Country dust settles on everything out here — driveways go the color of caliche, and a walkway can grow a green film on its shaded north side without anyone noticing when it started. DS Yard & Wash handles both sides of that: the yard kept mowed, edged and trimmed on a regular turn, and the hard surfaces washed back to the color they were built. There is a specific pleasure in the wand's first pass across concrete, the clean stripe appearing behind it, the before and after separated by nothing but water and patience. In Dripping Springs, where houses sit on rock and gravel and the junipers drop their litter all winter, it is honest work that never quite finishes. What it adds up to is a place that looks cared for from the mailbox all the way to the front door.
