About Lewis Lawns and Services Company

Pecans and cedar elms drop late in this part of Dallas County, so DeSoto's leaf season lands in November and comes down nearly all at once with the first hard wind. Lewis Lawns and Services Company works that month hard — leaf removal, bed and fence-line cleanup, a last round of mowing and edging before the Bermuda goes dormant. There is a specific pleasure in a yard that was ankle-deep at eight and bare and combed by noon. Getting the leaves off before they mat down is what lets the grass come back even in spring.
