Rivera's Lawn & Landscaping

About Rivera's Lawn & Landscaping

Deerwood keeps its pines in close to the houses, and the shade they throw makes every lawn a negotiation between sun, roots and needles. Rivera's Lawn & Landscaping mows, edges and trims through the long humid stretch of a Texas summer, when thunderheads stack up in the afternoon and the grass has grown again by morning. Runners crowd out over the walks here, so edging is half the labor and nearly all of the look. Before the trailer gate closes, needles and clippings come off the drive, the porch and the sidewalk. There is something steadying about a level green yard sitting under tall pine, and that is what the crew leaves behind.
