About Exceptional Landscapes

Morning on Lake Granbury comes in low and silver, mist lifting off the water before the first mower turns over. Exceptional Landscapes works the DeCordova yards that run down toward that shoreline, mowing, edging and trimming until a lawn reads clean from the street and from the dock both. The soil here lies thin over pale limestone, so the Bermuda earns every inch of green — which is exactly why a straight cut line looks so good against it. Clippings get cleared, walks get their border back, and the drive is blown off before the crew pulls away. By the time the heat settles on the water, the work is behind them and the grass is standing up right.
