Cutting Edge Lawn Care and Construction

About Cutting Edge Lawn Care and Construction

On the growing edges of Decatur there are streets that are still more caliche and staked lot line than neighborhood, and a yard there starts as raw ground. Cutting Edge Lawn Care and Construction takes that ground and makes a lawn of it — grading out the tire ruts, laying sod or seed, then coming back to mow, edge and trim it into something that reads as finished. The soil turns rusty and heavy after a spring rain and bakes pale by July, so timing the work is half the job. Once a yard is established it goes onto the route with the rest: clean cut, defined edge, cleanups when the season turns over. There's a real satisfaction in driving past a street you remember as bare dirt and finding it green.
