Bless Your Yard

About Bless Your Yard

Sunday morning in Decatur is slow and bell-rung, and the front yards on the older residential streets get looked at more that day than any other. Bless Your Yard keeps them ready for it — mowing, edging the walk that runs up to the porch steps, trimming close around mailbox poles and fence posts, then clearing the clippings off the concrete before the truck pulls away. Bermudagrass comes on hard here once the nights stop cooling off, and it asks for a steady weekly hand rather than a heroic one. Seasonal cleanups pull out what winter left banked in the beds and along the driveway seams. It's a plain kindness repeated on a schedule: a yard that looks tended from the street, week after week.
