Luna’s Tree Service

About Luna’s Tree Service

Dayton wakes under fog off the Trinity bottoms much of the winter, the old rice prairie flat and gray until the sun clears the treeline. Luna's Tree Service saves the cold weeks for pruning, when the leaves are down and a pecan shows every crossing branch it owns. Warmer months bring the rest — canopies raised off drives, pines removed that have leaned a little further each year, whatever a Liberty County squall knocks loose carried away. Everything cut goes on the truck, because half a job in a front yard is no job at all. The measure of it is a tree standing straight into the next August and a lawn a mower can cross.
