Barcenas Lawn Cutterz

About Barcenas Lawn Cutterz

Nothing tells a Dayton street the truth like an edge — that thin dark line where the St. Augustine stops and the sidewalk begins. Barcenas Lawn Cutterz cuts it sharp, then mows, trims around the crape myrtles and mailbox posts, and clears the walk until there is nothing left to sweep. On Saturday mornings over on the older blocks near the tracks, the sound of a trailer ramp dropping works as its own neighborhood clock. The route runs through Dayton and over toward Ames and Raywood, one yard at a time, right up to the last one before supper. A cut lawn is a small thing; a crisp one is a signature.
