Polo Landscapes

About Polo Landscapes

Late spring in southern Dallas puts wildflowers along the shoulders and fills the Kiest Park picnic grounds every weekend, while Five Mile Creek runs clear enough to hear from the road. Polo Landscapes works the neighborhoods around there in that stretch — mowing and edging, beds turned and mulched, plantings set in while the ground is still holding rain. The old lots here came with mature oaks and deep back yards, and a landscape either grows into that or gets swallowed by it. The aim is the first: turf held even, beds given a firm outline, shrubs shaped so the house can be seen. A yard tended that way looks generous, which is what these blocks have always been.
