Accurate Lawn Leveling

About Accurate Lawn Leveling

Dallas is built on blackland prairie clay, and clay moves — it swells with a spring gully-washer and shrinks into cracks by August, leaving lawns with dips, ruts and a birdbath low spot under the downspout. Accurate Lawn Leveling reads a yard the way water reads it, then brings the surface back true with sand and soil topdressing worked down into the turf. Around Lake Highlands and out toward Dixon Branch that means a mower can finally run flat instead of scalping every hump. Mowing, edging and cleanup follow, so the lawn looks finished rather than merely repaired. A level yard is a quiet accomplishment; you notice it mostly by not stumbling, not puddling and not tearing the grass open at every rise.
