About Ruiz Landscaping

Out at Dale the post oaks thin and the ground turns dark and heavy — the kind of Caldwell County dirt that grows grass in a hurry after a rain and cracks wide open when it doesn't. Ruiz Landscaping tends the yards strung along the old road between Lockhart and Bastrop, where a place might be a half acre of St. Augustine or a wide lot running back toward a hay meadow. Mowing on a rhythm the grass itself sets, sidewalks edged into a single clean line, the fence rows trimmed so the whole property reads as one tended piece. Central Texas summers here are long and bright and hard on turf, so the work is patient rather than dramatic: show up, cut it right, carry off what needs carrying. Come evening the light goes gold across the prairie, and a finished lawn holds it the way a field of new hay does.
