About Mick's Grass & Sod Service Inc.

There is a week in Crosby, usually in March, when brown ground turns green almost overnight and every yard on the street needs its first cut on the same Saturday. Mick's Grass & Sod Service Inc. meets that week head-on and then holds the rhythm: mowing, edging, trimming, and clearing the cuttings away. Sandy prairie soil east of the San Jacinto grows turf in a hurry once the nights warm, so the difference between a good lawn and a rough one is mostly timing. Beds get their borders cut back, shrubs get shaped, and the walk gets blown clean before the truck leaves. Green is easy here. Even is the part that takes work.
