Lemond's Tree Services

About Lemond's Tree Services

Crosby sits where the pines thin out into coastal plain, and from June onward the Gulf keeps sending weather up to see what stands. Lemond's Tree Services meets those nights with saws and a truck — a loblolly split across a driveway, limbs down along the San Jacinto bottoms, brush stacked and gone before dark. Between storms the work turns finer: deadwood out of a water oak, a canopy lifted over a pasture gate, a leaning pine taken down early rather than late. Cuts are made at the collar so the tree can close them, and nothing is left at the curb for somebody else to deal with. A place out here ought to come through a hard night intact and still look tended on an ordinary one.
