Baker’s Lawn Service

About Baker’s Lawn Service

Mornings in Crockett come up warm and heavy, mist lying in the low places along the creek bottoms before the sun burns it off the courthouse square. Baker's Lawn Service is moving by then, working the yards around downtown and out the farm roads toward Lovelady and Latexo. Mowing on schedule, edging along walks and curbs, trimming around pine trunks and porch posts, leaves and needles raked off the grass once fall sets in. Piney-woods yards ask for patience — shade in one corner, full sun in the next, and pine straw coming down all year long. Getting an even, finished look out of ground like that is the whole craft, and it shows from the street.
