Shoreline Lawn and Garden

About Shoreline Lawn and Garden

Cole Park runs right along the water, and the wind that crosses it carries salt far enough inland to write itself on every hedge it touches. Shoreline Lawn and Garden keeps yards on that side of town — mowing and edging, yes, but also the garden end of it: beds weeded and mulched, flowering shrubs trimmed to shape, plantings kept thinned and given room. Turf near the bay wants a taller cut and a watchful eye, and it gets both. Trimmings leave with the crew rather than blowing down the block. On a bright weekday with whitecaps out past the seawall, a tidy bayfront yard is a small and sturdy pleasure.
