R&R Lawn Service

About R&R Lawn Service

Out at the Calallen end of town the Nueces River slows down and spreads into green bottomland, and every September the sky above Hazel Bazemore fills with hawks funneling south. R&R Lawn Service keeps its rounds under that migration — mowing, string trimming the fencelines, clearing leaf and limb debris after the river wind has had its way with a yard. Weeds come out of the beds before they can seed, and brush and cuttings ride away on the trailer instead of sitting at the curb. The grass out here grows thick where the ground holds water and thin where the caliche comes up, so no two lawns get the same pass. Done right, a yard by the river looks tended without looking fussy.
