Rene's Lawn Service

About Rene's Lawn Service

Flour Bluff sits on a narrow shoulder of land with Laguna Madre on one side and Oso Bay on the other, and the evening light there comes in low and salted. Rene's Lawn Service takes the last yards of the day in it: the mower working the lot in overlapping rounds, the trimmer running around the boat trailer and the mesquite, the edger cutting the drive back to its true shape. Salt and sand are hard on turf, so cutting height matters, and so does clearing the cut grass before the wind stacks it against a fence. Shrubs get shaped back, beds get weeded, and the yard waste leaves with the truck. The reward is simple — a lot that looks cared for while the causeway lights come on across the water.
