Half Shell Lawn Care

About Half Shell Lawn Care

There is crushed shell under half this coast — old driveways, bed borders, the pale glare of it beside the road out toward Nueces Bay. Half Shell Lawn Care works the yards that butt up against it: mowing, edging where turf tries to creep into the shell, trimming, hedge work, and hauling clippings off rather than leaving them to bake. The line between grass and shell is the sharpest one in a coastal yard, and cutting it clean makes the whole place look kept. Late in the day that shell turns pink and everything looks softer than it did at noon. Corpus Christi, Portland and Aransas Pass.
