Coastal Life Turf

About Coastal Life Turf

Turf leads a strange life on this coast: the wind out of the southeast never really quits, salt gets into everything, and the grass keeps growing long after most of the country has gone brown. Coastal Life Turf treats a lawn as the living thing it is — cutting at a height the heat can survive, edging tight, feeding and controlling weeds on the schedule the season asks for, clearing clippings so nothing mats down in the humidity. September is the quiet turning point, when the nights soften and color comes back without anybody doing anything dramatic. What comes of it is turf that holds its green through the long stretch of a Corpus Christi summer. From the bayfront out to Flour Bluff and the island.
